2nd Annual Intern Alumni Event

Last week we had the privilege of hosting a memorable event, at Viewpoint Brewing Company in Del Mar, that brought together a remarkable group of professionals – our Intern Alumni! For the second year in a row, anyone who has ever interned with our firm came together for an afternoon to reconnect, reflect, and celebrate their accomplishments.

The Esplin & Associate internship program began with the goal of nurturing future talent, fostering collaboration, and building a community of legal professionals who would go on to do amazing things. It’s been so rewarding to witness each alum’s individual experience and the friendships they formed during their time with us.

It was inspiring to see the number of attendees who stayed with us after their internships. Many former interns went on to become fulltime employees of our firm, in either patent agent or paralegal roles. Their stories of growth, mentorship, and passion for their work remind us of the importance of cultivating talent and providing opportunities for meaningful development.

But it wasn’t just those who stayed with the firm who made their mark. Several alumni shared their paths beyond our doors, and we couldn't be prouder of where their journeys have taken them. Whether it was heading to law school, studying for the patent bar, or launching their own successful careers, the spirit of our internship program clearly helped pave the way for success in a wide range of careers.

As we reflect on how far our internship program has come, we are excited for what’s to come. The event reaffirmed the importance of staying connected and continuing to support one another as we grow. We are already looking forward to the next reunion, and we can’t wait to see how our intern alumni continue to excel, inspire, and innovate in their careers.
